These terms apply when you book a clean with Sage & Suds. Please read them before booking. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Who we are

Sage & Suds is a home cleaning business run by Becky as a sole trader in Northern Ireland. Contact: hello@sageandsuds.co.uk or 07455 009079.

Booking

A booking is confirmed once Becky has accepted it and confirmed the price and time with you. Cleans are 2 hours each, Monday to Friday and Sundays, 9am to 1:30pm.

Prices

• Regular fortnightly clean, pay as you go: £48 for 2 hours.
• Plans, paid upfront: 1 month (2 cleans) £95, 3 months (6 cleans) £276, 12 months (24 cleans) £960.
• Prices are as shown on our website at the time you book.

Travel

Travel is free across our core area. Homes further out, such as Portrush, Portstewart, Castlerock, Bushmills, Limavady and Maghera, have a £3.50 travel charge per visit. The travel charge is waived on the 3-month and 12-month plans. We'll confirm any travel charge before your first clean.

Plans

• Plans are paid upfront and are for fortnightly cleans only.
• Plans can't be paused, and unused cleans don't roll over when a plan ends.
• We'll send you a reminder before your last clean of a plan.

Skipping or moving a clean

• Please give at least 24 hours' notice to skip or move a clean. With 24 hours' notice or more, we'll rebook it and, on a plan, it isn't used up.
• With less than 24 hours' notice, or if we can't get in on the day, we charge 50% of the clean and, on a plan, it counts as used.
• If Becky has to cancel, for example through illness, we'll tell you as early as we can and rebook. On a plan, the clean isn't used up.

Leaving a plan early

You can leave a plan at any time by emailing us or messaging us on Facebook. We'll refund 50% of the value of your unused cleans, and any unused travel charges in full, the same way you paid.

14-day cooling-off

When you book by email, Facebook Messenger or online, you have 14 days to change your mind. We'll only clean within those 14 days if you ask us to in writing. If you then cancel within the 14 days, you pay for cleans already done and the rest is refunded in full.

Access and pets

Please make sure we can get in at the booked time, either by being home or by using your own key safe. Pets are welcome; please tell us about them when you book.
